How to Use F.DIST() in Google Sheets

Description

Calculates the left-tailed F probability distribution (degree of diversity) for two data sets with given input x. Alternately called Fisher-Snedecor distribution or Snedecor's F distribution.

How To Actually Use F.DIST() in Sheets

F.DIST(x, degrees_freedom1, degrees_freedom2, cumulative)

Try F.DIST yourself

In cells A1:A5, enter values for x. In cells B1:B5, enter values for degrees_freedom1. In cells C1:C5, enter values for degrees_freedom2. Use the F.DIST formula in D1 to calculate the left-tailed F probability distribution for the first row and drag down to fill D2:D5.
