How to unfreeze cells in Google Sheets

Go to View → Freeze → No rows (or No columns) to unlock frozen panes. You can also drag the thick gray freeze handle back to the top-left corner. After unfreezing, the whole sheet scrolls together again.

Steps

  1. 1

    Open View → Freeze.

  2. 2

Choose No rows and/or No columns.

  3. 3

Or drag the freeze bars back to the origin.
